El Ministerio de Energía de Chile invita cordialmente a entidades nacionales e internacionales comprometidas con el desarrollo de energías limpias e innovación a participar en la Expo virtual oficial del CEM12/MI-6, la cual se realizará entre el 31 de mayo y el 6 de junio, 2021.
CEM (Clean Energy Ministerial) es un foro global de alto nivel, que busca promover políticas destinadas a la adopción de energías limpias, mientras que MI (Mission Innovation) es una iniciativa global que pretende acelerar innovación en materias de energías limpias. Una vez al año, ambas iniciativas organizan un evento consecutivo con el fin de reunir representativos de alto nivel del sector energético, tanto del ámbito público como privado.
La Expo oficial del CEM12/MI-6 será un espacio virtual totalmente dedicado al networking, donde organizaciones internacionales, empresas privadas, instituciones académicas y organizaciones no gubernamentales, entre otros, podrán mostrar sus últimas iniciativas en materias de energías limpias e innovación energética, y compartir sus experiencias con todos los participantes y la comunidad internacional. Habrá un total de 36 puestos de exposición gratuitos, asignados a las mejores propuestas presentadas al Ministerio de Energía de Chile hasta el 14 de abril, 2021, a las 23:59 CEST.
Los temas por tratar incluyen los desafíos socioeconómicos de la transición energética, la participación de nuevos actores, el potenciamiento de la colaboración internacional, y el espacio de acción, de cara a la COP26.
Este será un evento único, donde estarán representados más de 30 países, las principales organizaciones internacionales del sector energético, academia/I+D, stakeholders y empresas privadas.

The Chilean Ministry of Energy cordially invites national and international organizations committed to clean energy and innovation development to participate at CEM12/MI-6 official virtual Expo, which will be held between May 31 and June 6, 2021.
CEM (Clean Energy Ministerial) is a high-level global forum held to promote policies of clean energy adoption, and MI (Mission Innovation) is a global initiative that aims to accelerate clean energy innovations. Once a year they organize a back-to-back event with the aim to gather public and private, high-level representatives of the energy sector.
The CEM12/MI-6 official Expo will be a virtual space fully dedicated to networking, where international organizations, private companies, academia, NGOs, among others, will be able to show their latest initiatives in clean energy and energy innovation, and share experiences with all the participants and the international community. There will be 36 free-of-charge stands assigned to the best proposals submitted to the Chilean Ministry of Energy by April 14, 2021, at 23:59 CEST.
The main topics will include the socio-economic challenges of the energy transition, the involvement of new actors, the enhancement of international collaboration, and the space of action ahead of COP26.
It will be a one-of-a-kind event, where more than 30 countries, principal international organizations of the energy sector, associations, stakeholders, and private companies from all over the world will be represented.
